Jay Z has proved that he is certainly one of the better hip-hop performers to be on tour this year. The production was smooth and had the audience gripped from beginning to end. There were no kinks, not a single bad note or missed cue. It was the type of smooth performance you would expect from the hip-hop superstar.

The tour is supporting his latest album Blueprint 3, however, the show included many popular songs from earlier records. It was a big entertainment spectacle with a great mix of old and new songs that kept a screaming audience on their feet the whole time. Even if you were not a fan of hip-hop music, last night would have to make you agree that the man puts on a good show.

A quick polling of other audience members gives a fairly one-sided idea of how the show went, with reactions ranging from "amazing" to "best show I ever saw." Was it worth the ticket price? Most definitely. Jay Z's North American fall tour is scheduled to continue until November 22, 2009.
